Since around 2010, he has been spending several weeks or even months a year here – and lovingly refers to Beckster’s Palace as his second home.

🏝 Why Thailand?

Beckster isn’t a fan of cold weather – and Thailand offers the warmth he craves. Even during the rainy season, Jomtien stays relatively mild, which makes it the perfect place for him to recharge. What he truly appreciates is the balance: calm and privacy, but also the option to experience the vibrant side of Thailand when he feels like it.

🛠️ Why this apartment?

He’s seen many places – but this one felt right. That’s why he decided to buy the apartment and completely redesign it. From a standard unit, he created a stylish two-level duplex with a private sleeping area and bathroom upstairs, and a bright living and dining space below.
He lives in the apartment himself when he’s in Thailand, so keeping everything in top shape – from the technical setup to the overall feel – is a matter of course. That’s also why he values respectful, trustworthy guests who treat the place like it’s their own.

🤝 What does he care about?

Professionally, Beckster works in an advisory role – communication, responsibility and fairness are part of his daily life. He brings these same values into his hosting style: honesty, order, clarity, and reliability. Guests don’t just get a place to stay – they get a host who’s present, helpful and available in German, English or Thai.

👩‍❤️‍👨 Who’s “we”?

A big part of Beckster’s life is his wife Nong, a native Thai he has been with for many years and married three years ago. She speaks fluent Thai and some English, and quietly supports Beckster behind the scenes. Together, they make sure everything runs smoothly – and that guests feel welcome, supported and at ease.

🌅 His personal favourite spot?

When in Thailand, you’ll often find Beckster on the balcony of Beckster’s Palace – enjoying the breeze, sipping coffee or a cold drink, and simply soaking in the moment. That’s the experience he wants to share with his guests.
